My husband bought me a serger for Christmas so I went to work straight away on projects. I did this wall hanging in about 1 hour to fill up space on a HUGE foyer wall. I bought 2 1/2 yards of some fabric I loved and serged some black out cloth on the back (right sides together) to make it hang nicely. It was fast and easy and it really makes a statement when you come in. This is the fast and easy answer to a quilted wall hanging plus it lets you show off gorgeous fabric.
